How to set up a double-eye needle:

    1. Remove the bobbin case cover, bobbin case, needle plate and the front grey U shaped plastic piece.

    2. The needle needs to be as low as possible so the hook picks up both threads, if the upper thread is not optimally picked up, the needle can be minimally lowered - less than 1 mm.

    3. Place the needle in position then drop it slightly. Secure it then carefully turn the fly wheel and check that the needle does not touch anything. If there is still a little space drop the needle
      even more.

    4. Check that the needle is NOT touching anything and tighten the needle screw.

    5. Replace the bobbin case, U-shaped piece, needle plate and cover.
