Invisible zip roller foot - fits most machines due to the variety of shanks!
This invisible zipper roller foot kit comes with 4 blue adaptors:
Adaptor A: Suits machines with short shank presser feet
(Eg: Bernina, Elna, Husqvarna Viking, Janome / New Home, Pfaff, Singer, Kenmore, Universal, Victoria)
Adaptor B: Suits machines with long shanks presser feet
(Eg: Necchi, Pfaff, Penncrest, Singer, Kenmore, Janome / New Home)
Adaptor C: Suits machines with slant presser feet
(Eg: Singer)
Adaptor D: Suits machines with low front mounted pressure feet
(Eg: Janome / New Home, White)
Instructions to use the invisible zipper roller foot set:
- Select the shank suited to your machine and slide onto foot as shown in diagram.
- Replace regular foot on your machine with the Roller Zipper Foot.
- Slide the pink foot across the blue adaptor until needle is centered. Place thread between roller and foot on the left hand side. This will hold the thread for a tangle free start.
- Follow sewing instructions on invisible zipper packaging for a professional finish: follow the normal installation instructions, but do not press coil of polyester zipper with iron. Unroll coil with finger and position foot onver coil.
- Automatic threading: gives tangle-free stitching. The ruler allows foot to glide over fabric & zipper. The foot is hinged to duplicate a normal pressed foot for smoother stitching over cross-sewn & bulky fabrics.
- Adjustability: allows installations in fabrics adjust the foot so that the point of the needle falls slightly off-centret, a little further away from the zipper feet than usual.
