Schmetz Leather Needles can truly handle genuine leather and can sew through the thickest of your leather projects. Available in a packs which includes 5 needles in size 100/16.
The wedge shaped cutting point of the leather needles is specially designed to penetrate leather and artificial leather. The needle is not suitable for textiles.
These leather point needles fits on normal domestic sewing machines that uses the 130/705 needles system (flat at the back).
The SCHMETZ Leather sewing machine needle has a left twist cutting point. As the name suggests, use the Leather needle to sew leather, faux leather, paper, and heavy non-woven synthetics. The cutting point easily penetrates leather. Remember once the stitch is created, the thread can be removed, but the stitch hole will remain. Do not use on knit or woven fabrics.
