Maria Kotzé | Farm Friends - Tessa and Skip

Includes the printable Applique Placement and Pattern in A4-format and A3-format. The A4-format can be printed on a home printer and the pattern be joined in the middle to get the complete size.

This was designed to become a placemat, the size of the pattern is 16.5" x 10.75". Your placemat can be enlarged by adding borders if you need.

Start by creating the background, cut the dam with additional 1/4" seam allowances top and bottom. Join the grass to the dam with a decorative stitch, resembling grass.  Cut the sky-piece by adding a 1/4" seam to the bottom. Then create the sky and all of the applique pieces before joining the sky to the dam with a 1/4" seam. Follow by adding the plants in the dam, followed by the animals and flowers.
